Lead

Lead is an incredibly hazardous material that many Chicago buildings built before 1978 contain. Lead can have a variety of negative impacts on the body and can be especially harmful to children. During a demolition, it’s possible that workers or the public take in lead via dust, fumes, or mists which can cause long-term damage. It is a recent requirement to include lead inspections for a project. Brophy Excavation has their own in-house lead inspector for your project.
